Emaxx aluminum tranny case?
 

Anyone use the aluminum tranny case for the Emaxx that Mike sells? I have the Gmaxx one speed conversion and am wondering if the aluminum one would be a stronger setup for having just half the case bolted to the chassis. It's only held on by 4 bolts now and doesn't appear as sturdy as having the whole tranny case like stock, is the aluminum a good setup? How's the quality?

well i assure you the quality is excellent given it is made by flm. if you have the g-maxx single speed convertion you can get the half of the case for it instead of getting the whole thing. i would think that the all aluminum tranny would be alot more sturdy. do you use the single speed conversion with a g-maxx chassis?

Where can I get 1/2 the case? That would be perfect! I'm currently using the single speed with a SuperMaxx UE chassis. I like the added ground clearance for the kind of bashing I do.

I believe FLM will soon offer just half the case option.

Mike should be able to hook you up on the half case. I got one coming. I have to get back to you on the quality.

I have the 1/2 cases in stock.

Did you get my PM, or did I space on sending it? I'd like to get a 1/2 case but don't see it as an option on the site. Should I just send paypal and list for what it is? How much is the 1/2 case?
