Cheap CRT.5 Batteries?
 
I was looking on fleabay and there is a guy selling some 3s lips cheap would these be any good for a CRT.5? ? I think they were 40 dollars shipped.. for 2 if i understand it right..

If it really does do 53amps constant, then it may be ok. But the problem is, you won't know for sure until you buy them since they are most likely an oem brand. On a side note, I use lipos of similar specs in my mini's... I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable with those in a crt.5. But I know people have run 2500mah lipos with success, so as long as your motor is mild enough not to puff the lipos, it may work.

If you're on a budget, why not get the Protek lipos from amain?

I would go with a higher capacity( no less than 3500 with 3s it will draw more amps and remember you get what you pay for and batteries is one area I wont skimp, if you wanna go cheap go with True RC or Zippys

here is a link to a Zippy 4000 3s pack for $60 but shipping will be at least $10 but IMO a better option
