Hyperion Duo question
First off I totally love the charger. Very user friendly and easy to update once you have some help from good members on here and do it once.
My question is when charging two lipo packs in sync (2 2s 8k MA packs) what are you guys setting your capacity too? I see the maximum is 120%, however I set mine to 100%. Comments? |
i thought that setting was only for use with nimh where you have losses. so i dunno, i dont have a duo, just the 0610i. afaik you cant change it on that.
|
Glad to hear you got it updated successfully. I updated my 0610i to v1.6 a little while ago, but won't get to see what all changed until tomorrow night.
I'll go with tc3_racer on the max business, reading the "manual" it says lipo is limited to 100% on teh 0610i chargers. I'd stick with that until you find out it means something diff for the DUO. |

quick question- what power supply are you using and where do you get the cable that allows you to update the software thanks.
|
Its fine setting it higher, good quality packs often say maximum capacity = 4000mah for example, but will often take up to say 4400mah of charge or something. the 120% option is just taking into account that capacity ratings are often over or underrated or whatever.
GM360: I use a converted computer psu at home (doesnt allow max power output, but when I'm playing at home 15min lifepo4 charges arent really necessary) and a 12V car battery in the field. The update cables are available from a lot of places, you need two bits, programmer, and adaptor |
b-p-p has just listed them on their site im pretty sure. that other place sammus recommended to me in the other thread shipped cheaply ($2) and very quickly.
