Welcome to the forums, Capone! That is a pretty sweet looking truck. Where did you get the red tranny? What do you plan to run for power?

I plan on running a Plettenberg BigMAXXimum brushless motor with a Schulze 18.97KWH controller (blue motor)

I will run 16 cells but may move to 18 at some point. I plan on finishing her up next weekend. I got the red tranny case from inetrc.com but I must have snagged the last one since they only have the polished cases now (which I have 2 of). Here is a pic with the aluminum e-maxx gears which I cannot find anymore.

Here are some pics of one of my olther maxxes. It has the tranny with the aluminum gears. I will be installing the Hacker B50XL in this one.

Another nice ride! It appears that you may have the same addiction as me (e-maxxes!). One thing I would recommend on both of those trucks is the G-maxx extension. With the kind of power you are talking about, they are going to be wheelie machines for sure. It looks like you have the diffs upgraded already (I see aluminum cases at least on the scarlet-hopefully with aluminum cups inside, and I can't tell for sure, but it looks like you may have the 1/8 diffs on the other). They should be pretty bulletproof.

Yeah, I got the 7.5 6 Gear Supermaxx Diffs in the Carbon Fiber G-Maxx and the 7.5 8 Gear Supermaxx Diffs in the ScarletMaxx. I only have the steel idler gears in the ScarletMaxx since I can't find the aluminum gears anymore.

I was heavy into Nitro until Novak came out with the Brushless H-V. I sold off all my nitro trucks (must have had 15 or 20) once I saw the performance. I have a stock E-Maxx with the H-V and I was very impressed with the performance. Then I saw some vids of some of the higher end brushless motors like the Hacker and Plett and decided that was the way I wanted to go. I have grown so tired of blistered hands from pull-starters, tuning nitro engines and the noise and mess of nitro. Not to mention, with a baby daughter, I usually only have time to run for at most an hour at a time which doesn't give me a lot of time so I usually end up running in my neighborhood. I have yet to have neighbors that don't mind the nitro whine as they try to have dinner.

So I threw everything I got into brushless setups and I haven't looked back. I do have a nitro Kyosho Baja Beetle and a Nitro Kyosho Blizzard but those are just for fun and I don't really run them at all.

The only thing I don't like about the extension kits is the look of the truck that has been extended. The bodies don't fit well. I have a couple wheelie bars I will put on when I run the high powered trucks.

BTW, here is my Kyosho Twin Force, my stock E-Maxx and my CarbonMaxx with the new wheels/tires. Not sure what I will put in the Twin Force but it will likely be one of the high end guys to move those massive wheels/tires.

The crowd pleaser bodies look pretty good with the ext. chasis. I use the proline extended Ford F350 truck body for mine and it fits perfectly. You have a lot of nice trucks, there. I still race nitro vehicles, but I definately prefer electricity!

nice truck buddy.

Well I would recommend you try the 16 cells first before you do the 18 because right now on my run on Sunday, I busted my rear wheelie bar because too much power and it wheelies so hard that it flies up, all my 40 series velocity 6 wheels are all rounded out on the hex area, all my tires are loose, I busted my wing on the body, but other than that the G-Maxx Chassis and the new Arms held up pretty well.. Too bad I only got to run it like for 5 mins because of the dang wheels going to putz.
