Why not go with a 50mm v2 medusa?

I dont know how well it will work over a NEU

The NEU is bigger then the medusa. And the NEU is black lol, which goes a little better with my car then blue.

You think there just as good?

I am sure the neu is better. What are you going to put it in?

Not a big car (exact size of a GT2 or Jato....), but in 100 deg weather and all, I dont want to have a motor running hot, when I know a NEU will rock

I know about running a good motor in a crt.5. I am running a hacker c50 8l on 3s in mine. I do run 2.2 truck gladiators, and the ext rcm chassis.

I have a feeling that the medusa 50mm will be fine, just get one with a 5mm shaft.

My chassis is 14mm longer then Mikes chassis lol... I will probably run the same tires

I will be running a modded R1PRO, with 3s lipo. How should I gear the motor? I want 40-45 mph, but running cool

Depends on the kv you buy. On 3s you want something like 3000 or up. If you go around 40k rpm max and gear with a 14t spur, that should get you around the desired speed...

Yeah, it seems like a good motor. I can get a good deal on one now
