Hypersonic (a123) charger question
 

Was wondering if the hypersonic charger can handle a 3s2p pack? I know that a123 sell 1p packs in 2s and 3s, and they sell a 2s2p pack. I am guessing that it would take 30 mins to charge a 2p pack, as it takes about 15 to charge a 1p pack.

Also, what kind of runtime could I expect from a rustler with a 5000kv motor running a 3s1p a123 pack? Thruck would be geared for mind 40 mph range.

A123 systems sell two different models of hypersonic charger:

The bigger one will do 2-3 "hypersonic packs only", whatever thats ment to mean. I would guess though that the charge current may simply be reduced if you plugged in a 2p pack, rather than a 1p pack, same as with any other charger, depends on its output power and the power supply...

Just use your hyperions in Life mode and max up the amps...

My hyperions do not have a123 (LiFe) modes...

My 5i's have a123 mode - He was going to flash my 5i ac/dc but ended up sending me a 6i ac/dc instead...

Why wouldn't it? It should work on voltage feedback... Try it and let us know what happens...
