Track Ideas?
Hello all, I want too build a track in the back yard.
I need some ideas for a faster paced layout for 1/8 buggy's and truggy's. If anyone has any pics of local tracks or even a sketch please post em' up. I have lots of room too work with so space isn't a concern. thanks for the help. |
The pictures are midway down the page.

Ok your going to love this linc...its to the complete build from start to almost finished including the drivers stand.......this track is owned privately by a neighbor of mine about 2 miles away.....and its on his own property where he lives and has over $105,000 in it material

I like that big one,15' lanes you could use that for dirtbikes.
I was thinkin 30x50 5-7' lanes. Keep the ideas comin thanks |
I built a track at the house that is 60' X 50' and it is not big enough for 1/8. I'm looking to go something along the lines of 130' X 80'.

I was thinking something like this 50x70. That would give me 5'-7' lanes.
What do you think? |
The grey areas would be concrete, because I'm in a wheelchair it will make it easier to upright a flipped car(bad driver).
The redish color would be jumps, burms, woops etc... I also want to put up a small workshop with a balcony for a drivers stand. That way Wheelchair lift stays inside out of the weather,my dirty cars stay out of the house and I have a new hideout to get away from the wife. |
