Gearing??

Anyone know how any of the new e-revo's are geared with a brushless motor in it?? thank you!

depends on what motor your running and what voltage... gear it for about 40 or 45mph..

well im just running the VXL motor and speed control but its running super hott! and the gearing is stock at 68Spur and 19Pinion. I just dont know if to go higher or lower in what spur or pinion or both.

brushlessboy16 07.25.2008 12:13 PM

what batteries are you running?

big greg 07.25.2008 12:15 PM

its because thats not enough motor to be pushing the truck, you need at least a fiegao, or medusa is better, neu best

RevoRacer09 07.25.2008 12:17 PM

2cell 5000 lipo but 2 of them then a mtronics speed control with a vxl motor.

4s total or 2s2p?

Arct1k 07.25.2008 12:23 PM

This setup will not give you longterm success - Read some more posts re typical setups for 1/8th scale

RevoRacer09 07.25.2008 12:37 PM

brushlessboy16 07.25.2008 12:38 PM
