The Revo runs awesome on 4s with MM. My original set up was: MM ESC, Feigao 9xl, UBEC, TrueRC 4s 8000mah lipo pack. Ran absolutely flawlessly all the time.
Here are some video's of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXchJTm-jbM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzqH_QrTHVI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4ecFRHuPUs |
I am running a revo on 4s as well.
performs great |
jnev what gearing did you run, Arct1k what gearing and motor?
|
Is there a better motor, as far as quality that i could run, thinking about the medusa? Or possibly a Neu

I'm using an emaxx transmission with a 9XL on 5s2p A123 22/66 but will be moving to a Castle 2200 1Y on 6s2p A123 - gearing not fixed yet 18/22 would be a first guess

I went ahead and locked it in second so i can get botor brake and reverse. I may mechinal in the future im not sure.

Older one...

hmm, my budget is a little to low for a NEU so i think i may go with a medusa motor, or maybe for the time being a feigao.
|
I would get the medusa v2 60mm 2000 if you can find one or are happy to wait...
If you are prepped to wait until set i would look at the MMM combo. If you don't want to wait go for a 9xl and mild mod MM |
i have a MM and a 7xl already, im hoping for a MMM combo but i dont have the cash right now. I have some more parts to get together for the revo so ill try and wait but it might get to me :-P.
