Losi 27mhz FM radio problems. Help!

Guys I have the 27mhz FM crystal radio and a Losi 27mhz FM Synthesized receiver. Should these work together? So far they aren't so I'm guessing they won't.

I haven't hard of a Crystal and Syn radio working together, guess not aswell

Yeah that sucks. I thought the synthesised bit just meant you don't need crystals to set frequency. I thought they would still work together. Now I have to receivers I can't use.
