Brushless mini-z?
Has anyone done something like a brushless mini-z yet?
I'm becoming bored, and am looking to do a small scale brushless project for the heck of it. Something cheap (which is why I'm looking at very small scales). Already got a brushless micro-t that RIPS, but I'm looking for something a little larger and a tad more stable at speed to mess with in the dorms too. Any other suggestions besides a mini-z? What about an Xmod? Those are pretty dang cheap... Keeping it on the cheap is key. I already have a spare Mamba 25 ESC, and a spektrum receiver, so that's all taken care of. I'd just need a motor and to modify the crap out of the chassis. |
yeah, iwaver, x-mods, mini-z, i have seen all of the above in brushless. I dig on the iwaver myself.

Someone's done all those in brushless already? Damn... There goes that idea I suppose (kinda wanted to be unique at the same time as being cheap).
Maybe it's an omen for me to stop spending money.... HEHE! |
Do a mimi-z with 12s lipo. I guarantee not even Linc has done that!

HAHAHAHA! Kinda negates the "cheap" part. I wonder if I could do 12s though...

Maybe 12s with 500 mah. You would run out of space soon, 6s may be doable though.
