V balance problem

Hey guys i have a problem with my v balancer, im using a duratrax ice charger with the appropriate power supply.

When i plug my 4s 5000mah flightpower pack into the v balancer it shows that i have a low voltage warning (red bar flashing) but when i check through all the cells on the menu they all have 3 bars for all 4 cells. There is no low voltage yet the balancer wont let me stay in link mode since it is detecting a low voltage??

Any help would be great!

try just charging the batt then balancing it couple times and see if it will cycle itself out. Sounds more like the balancer is faulty though

Do you use that balancer with other batteries without problem?

Yes it balances my trakpower 4900 with no problem.

Try to remove the last red wire on the balancing harness on the batt. And of course, isolate him!

Before to remove this red wire, are you certain that you use the right adapter between the V Balancer and the pack????

When i had my TP 5000, 4s with this balancer, i've try another harness adapter and all came alive!

did you some how go below the LVC on the battery. Also does it charge AND balance at the same time for the other batt with no problem. If it does than the problem is the battery itself

Is this the balance adapter you're using?

I thought you only had to remove that red wire when useing hyperion balancers. But glad all is well.

No probs, but don't understand too why it's like that. When i've bough my FP 5000mAh, 4s pack, i had to remove this wire too, if not, nothing to do, incapable to charge it, always an error message on the balancer.
