LST2 conversion semi-completed
3 Attachment(s)
Got my LST2 conversion semi-completed. Still have some "trimming" to do to the esc mount and will probably lighten up the battery tray a bit more. Gonna paint a body today in hopes of making up to San Antonio to race tommorrow night. Before you guy judge my fabrication skills to harshly, keep in mind that my machine shop is a hacksaw, a drillpress and a Dremel. I'll be aquiring a full cnc mill once I win the Texas Lottery :).

Looks good.. better than me, I have access to a full machine shop... I just don't know how to use any of it!

Nice setup, I have almost the same design for the motor mount floating in my head! I do like the forward battery tray too, looks great.
After you run it a bit, would you let usknow how you like the single speed? I was planning on leaving the 2 speed and mech brakes, but have considered using a MMM on 6s... Not sure if the battery I have will hold up, it is a 20c rated 3900 6s pack, so only 80 amps cont... I had planned an 8s setup with a kb45 10xl. Was going to use a cc hv85. Probably stick with that, as I have everything... Have fun racing! |
nice job mate i was gonna stick to the lst gearbox in my conversion but i whent with the emaxx gearbox in mine as i coulnt figure out the motor mount
still need to get some bits to finnish mine though hopefully it will come together soon http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...t=13739&page=4 |
