Schulze Future 18.97 & Plettenberg Bigmaxximum - settings
Can anyone guide me on the sttings that I need on the Dip switches on the controller for it work well with a Mutipole motor such as the Plettenberg Bigmaxximum or even a Tekno Neu motor. There are 2 dip switches on timing / frequency. Do they make a big difference?

Once you make some test runs you can lower your temperature by tunning frequency, timing is important if you have pretty light load. |
Thanks

Griffin, what would a good timing setting be for big max on other controllers (MMM)?

hi
101001 you may choose the second one on 1 too. boat modus has a very smooth brake that may put less stress on your drivetrain. bye rhylsadar ps: put a nice fan on the heat sink and solder some short leads to the 3.5mm plugs. so you do not have to remove them anytime you take off the motor. you may solder 4mm on the other end to connect to the motor. also two additional capacitors are not a bad idea. |
Thanks for the info. I have basically set the controller on the settings you mentioned and it works well. I believe the DIP switches can be set for Medium / Low for Lehner or hacker motors.
The Boat mode makes the brakes very very weak. In fact the 16lb truck will not stop safely. So I have returned the settings to car. Mohan |
