Home Hybrid V2 diffs

I need to buy this but can you help me clarify a few questions:

1. If I buy the set (buggy/truggy), do I still need to buy the 8mm bore Steel Revo drive shaft coupler to use the stock center drive?

2. Mike currently has no stock of the truggy set, if I buy just the case and get the HB pro diffs do I need to buy anything else (besides the drive shaft coupler)?

Thanks

1. Yes. Unless you want to drill the plastic yoke holes to 8mm. I had done it before and it works.

2. If I were you,I'd buy the Ofna Hyper 7/8/8.5 diffs. They're the same as the HB diffs but cheaper. I used those on my trucks. You can get them from ebay for $30 shipped each.

Are you going to use the stock plastic axles? If so, you also need the modified diff outputs. You can also make those buy buying revo stub axles and cutting off the threaded portion. I did that before too.

Here are some pics:

Modified diff outputs on the foreground (4 of them):

Here's a link to the revo stub axles you need in order to make the diff outputs to allow use of the plastic driveshafts with a buggy/truggy diff.

Thanks for that George, Ofna Diffs should be easily available to LHS here. This is one way to go. But just wondering, isn't the stub axle included on the Revo Hybrid Diffs V2 (case only)?

Also those are the same as this item right?

Yes, you're right. The diff outputs are included in the kit including the bearings :intello:.

the ofna diffs are not the same as hotbodies diffs, the lightning pro diffs use hard coated internals as well as aluminum cross pins, ofina used stamped gears and steal pins. the ofna diffs will still be alot stronger than the revo diffs

the hotbodies LSP truggy diffs are the way to go they are spiral cut 13/43
