Issues with E-revo and Spectrum DX2.0

Well i aready had the Spectrum DX2.0 for my slash so I bought another Dsm module so i could use the radio in my E-revo, I also purchased was a Y adapter so the twin servos will work and i Cannot get the thing to work right!!! At first there was barely any forward throttle compared to the reverse, which i couldn't get rid of with adjustment so i simply reversed the motor leads as well as reversed the throttle on the radio, so now i have full power forwards and little backwards, which i is annoying but not a huge issue as i don't sped too much time going full sped in reverse...but i lost brakes in the process, instead of slowing down the car just goes in reverse every time i try to hit the brakes, which is probably from me reversing everything, but sometimes the throttle doesn't work after i have tried to hit the brakes....the truck will be completely stopped and only sometimes it will move when i give it throttle, sorry for the horrible explanation, this is really annoying i have spent hours trying to fix it and nothing seems to work.....

Well, using forwards as reverse & reverse as forwards will have the effects you describe. My suggestion would be to reset the throttle trims to neutral, reset any throttle reverse switches or whatever (cursed digital radios, whats wrong with a slide switch or pot), switch the motor wires back to normal, and then reprogramme your esc to the radio. if it runs backwards, then switch the motor leads (it is BL I take it). You should have proper throttle and brake/reverse control.

I know some radios have to have the throttle channel reversed from the get-go, but you'll have tp check that out for yourself.

Ill try what you have suggested, though I think i have done most of it already...unfortunately it is not BL yet, that is next on the list as soon as i find the money.

Thanks for the response!!
