Help me pick out a new truck

I have a rustler and want to get something bigger and 4WD. The Erevo is what I'm looking for size wise but I'm going to throw my own motor, esc, and radio system on so I don't see the point in buying a RTR truck. What do you guys suggest? Links would be great.

Also I'm going to be running two 6S in series with a CC esc so mech brakes will be wanted. Last question......I've never did a conversion so please give me links to the truck and the things I will need to convert to electric. As always thanks for the help.

You could probably find a Revo/Erevo roller on ebay if you don't want the electronics.

what motor are you thinking of running? And since you will be running 12s are you going with a HV110 ESC?

Not sure how much power I need but I'm thinking the smaller 85amp version and a 850kv 60mm medusa v2. Wanting the cooler running and small mah bats. I'm running a 6S medusa setup in my rustler and really like it compared to a 3S setup. I figured 3000ish watts should be enough but not sure.

Any help would be great.

On 12s you will need one serious speed controller...such as....http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...M90323scarboat
This one can handle up to 10s li-po.

This is what I had in mind with one of those pix thingys and mech brakes. I don't need reverse. Also will the CC esc handle a 4 pole motor like the mamba max?

it will handle any pole motor up to a certain rpm, i ran a 14pole outrunner on mine

that would be the Pistix adapter

Sweet thanks. Any clue if 3000watts would push a revo well enough? not looking to break speed records but 45-50mph would be great.

a Neu 1515 motor will put out a continuous 1500 watts with bursts up to 2700 watts and that would be plenty for a Revo

I would spend my money on an 1/8 scale truggy...maybe a race roller. Way better handling and more durable too!

Just bought a revo roller with alot of extras for 190. Now what do I need to convert it? Need the brakes, a way to mount the motor, and what I'm I looking for gears wise? I'll be using a 5mm shaft. Thanks
