8xl vs. 9xl in a erevo/hyper set up.
 

I need opinions on an 8xl vs. a 9xl to be used in both a hyper 7 and a erevo. Will be used on 4s (with mamba max/ccbec). I will be using this motor until the medusa's come out.

why not try a hobbycity motor - $29 bucks. worth a shot if its only gotta last a month.

yeah I run a hobbycity 8L in my buggy and it goes well, seems to be nearly identical to the feigaos. I got two of em and one of them felt seized, popped the endcap off and sure enough there was a piece of broken brass spacer (that they use to align the shaft) rattling around in there. Took it out and it works perfectly. In other words, if you do get a HC motor, check if it spins freely before you power it up :)
