UE Servo saver

How is the servo attached to the UE servo saver since the "saver" is part of the steering arms.

I actually have the proline version on the way and it's basically the same design and was wondering how you guys attach them.

Thanks for any help!

I always thought the servo mounted the other way. Correct me if I am wrong on this.

That is the best way to explain it. A pic says a thousand words. Have to get you a servo arm for it to replace servo.

Heck you may be right. So someone please clarify. I threw it in and it worked never gave it to much thought.:L: It would not be the first time.....

I found that mine seem to work better the other way. Keeps the drag link more parrellal to the front axle. I could take a pic of mine papa.

Yes, you are right coolhand..

The more straight the draglink is, the better. Otherwise, your steering servo is stronger one way than the other. (and it could steer less far to one way)

Well I guess I know what I'll be doing when I get home.

Serum 10.24.2005 05:34 PM

LOL..

coolhandcountry 10.24.2005 05:34 PM

Let us know if it helps you out papa. My bro did the same. It didn't work as well on his.

Papa 10.24.2005 05:39 PM

I did not notice any problems. Every thing seems to clear with no binding. Lock to lock seems to be the same. I dunno...? I 'll check out the alignment when I get home and see what the difference is. :C:

It works either way. It just has a tendency to work better and the power/speed is more consistent from side to side if the leverage is the same side to side(straight draglink as Serum mentioned).

Papa 10.24.2005 08:57 PM

It was not me see, it was the other guy, I was framed...:L: That's what I get for not thinking doh! You see on my own truck I would have stared at it for hours tried it 6 different ways , and then still did it the rookie way......Ouch:eek:

:L:

If it works. It can't be but so wrong. :D
Could be worse. You could have stared at it for 3 hours and tried 9 differents ways. :L:
