Re-wiring balance taps
 

I just purchased an awesome 3s 1700mAh DualSky pack from Skellyo, and it has an odd balance tap that doesn't work with my Hyperion charger.

I have found the adapters that can be purchased, but I'm wondering if I can just re-wire it. I have an appropriate white plastic Hyperion tap casing , so can I just pop the wires out of one and put it in the other? (Assuming the proper order and doing it safely one at a time, etc...)

It seems as if it's an obvious question, but I want to make sure before I (literally) pull the plug.

As long as the metal prongs on each end of the wires are the same as on Hyperion taps it will work just fine. If you can, compare the prongs on your Dualsky to one of those in another Hyperion plug.

i changed the taps on my 3s heli packs to hyperion and they work fine, you shouldnt have any problems as it sounds like know how to do it already.
