mm vs mmm v2
well just took out my trusty MM from my 808 and put in the mmm v2.
what can I say? WOW does not do it justice. firsy off i actually think i may have to gear it down a tooth it is stupid fast. the MM would not take off from a stop perfect every time. The MMM u can put the front tires up against a curb and it will slowlly drive up the curb perfect. And this is geared for at least 45 MPH maybe a little more. brakes work great and reverse is just right also. |
Thats good to hear. I have got two of them coming my way.
|
wicked news .. i cant wait .. got 4 preordered !!

The low end smoothness is second to none. absolute zero cogging. It drives like a sensored system until you pull the throttle wide open then it has no issues smoothly delivering the power. When coupled with a nue 1515 1y the power is immense too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWa-gLtIO64 thank you castle!

even my 1512 is more than u can even think of using at the track. flip over backwords on the street, pull the front end up half way down the straight on the track. that is why i had to regear it. easy to calabrate too.
Oh and BTW the fans turn on during start up so you can check if it is working every time u turn it on. The old issue of heat VS top speed is no longer an issue. put any pinion in it you dare.LOL! |
That's fantastic to hear! I can't wait to plumb a V2 into my brushless Havoc when it's finished; just gotta get round to sending my V1 back to be replaced.
|
There is no compairison. The MMM is WAY smoother. I have both.
|
u know my V1 is still working perfect. there should be some sort of prize for the longest working V1... ( like a free v2 LOL) i havnt compared the V1 in my xt8 to the v2 in my 808 in case u ask.
