Looks like god sent a rival to compete with the MMM. Hope the specs are up to par.

i still think with losi's recent release of hard shell 4s lipos, i doubt it willl be a contender with the MMM, maybe the MM though.

The motor/esc combos are on there site... 3-5 cell lipo

God, I wonder when it'll be out. Looks to be a good MMM contender. Just wish it would handle 6s. 150a cont and 720a peak is pretty good. Im dying to have the esc.

Im going to back order it here in a few days. But Im having 2nd thought on the MMM.....

I wouldn't trust it, or anything from losi ever again. I had two stock MLST2's - both of them would thermal in total stock configuration, right out of the box, if I drove them hard (not even that hard). I asked Losi about it expecting maybe for them to at least try and diagnose the problem. Their solution: The ESC shuts down to protect it from overheating if you draw to much current, try not to use full throttle from a standstill.

After dropping a Mamba 25 system in one of them I understood why they were trying to limit the power so much. I will NEVER trust in or spend a cent on anything made by Team Losi again. Absolutely pathetic.

CC on the other hand have usually at least met, and exceeded my expectation of any of there products or customer service. The exception being that 2 of 5 BECs I bought were faulty out of the pack.

Well of course, the mlst and mlst2 are terrible... Losi makes some really good products otherwise.

It's great that a big name company like Losi has finally gotten the hint about how popular electric 1/8th has become.

I like that the ESC comes with a programming card. It will be interesting to see how it holds up.

Please don't let the mini's (especially the MLST's) send you away from Losi. I have an 8T and will not drive another truggy ever again. I like the motor mount, and the battery box. I can't wait to get one, for my truggy

Cool, they have a $80 conv kit too for the 8. That motor mount looks suprizingly similar.....

Does anyone see the the esc only price? It just may come out before the MMM does. Novak is the one really screwed here tho. The HV system just looks like a dinosaur. I don't understand what they are doing trying to milk that thing out w/ "5mm upgrade" kits when now the OEMs have better controllers. Nice going losi (and nice to see they got it out before TRX ;) )

Interesting looking stuff! I'm surprised that Losi have released this kind of system so quickly, but here it is. Sensible-looking motor KVs too, though they won't match the CC Neu for efficiency.

I just wonder who REALLY design and make that ESC, though...
