Controller for Plettenberg Maxximum
Hi Guys
Currently I have a Supermaxx with a Plettenberg Maxximum and a Schulze 18.97. I am thinking to upgrade my stocker to brushless too. For this reason my question, are there any other controllers in the market which can handle Pletterg Maxximum or is it only Schulze. As I have seen in the Forum of BK electronics: Warrior cannot handle Plettenbergs. Thank you for your help. Gusti |
How abouts a Feigao 7xl and 9920? From what I've heard, it's actually a bit more efficient, and runs just as good as the Plett/Schulze system, but you could buy two systems for the price of that one.

Dabid, a 7XL would be closer to a Bigmaxximum. Gusti meant a Maxximum.
Don't know about 4-pole capable ESC's. Mike will help us on this. Possibly MGM? |
The MGM should be able to take a 4pole, but i didn't heard it from 1st hand, just theory! True, dabid, the 7XL is a tad more efficient than the plettenberg (1 or 2 percent only) the feigaos are more smoother than the plettenberg. Convince yourself and get a 7XL for about 70 euro from Mike.. (it will run flawless on your schulze)
But why not do as I? sell the schulze/plettenberg and get a 7XL with a 9920.. Or if you are planning on real power, 6S lipo and the 9 or 10XL and the 9920.. It will pull the pants from your plettenberg for about the same price (lipo/10XL+9920 vs plettenberg/14-16 nim'h's/18.97) |
Rene, I know Gusti is not after pants-pulling combos. The trucks are for his son, and he told me the small Pletty is plenty for him.
I sold him a 9L recently. Guess he will love it. But Gusti, Serum is right. A Warrior 7XL combo for your Supermaxx would be very nice. Works just fine on 12 cells, and 14 is pretty good. Later on, you could even put 18 cells on. Think about it. Get rid of the Schulze for as long as it is still alive. Just an opinion. |
Okay, thanks for clearing that out Daniel (like usual) It's just my allergic reaction to arrogant companies.. ;)

Here we go again
:L: Maybe Gusti hasn't seen the Hall of Shame yet? ;) |
Well, he won't be able to at this time..
my webspace is currently down, i need to upload them again to my other site.. |
Too bad.
Gusti, in the meantime, knock on some wood. |
