You will need a BEC (cc bec or similar), I would add an extra cap (novak hv 2700uf) and potentially a fan (25mm 5v)...

BEC and FAN is a must....I run mine without extra caps with 6S A123..2 x 7 cell NiMH should be fine....if you are still hesitant get the caps

ok mate i have fans and i have the ubec that rcmike sell on here so ill give it a go not sure about these caps though do you wire them between the
+ and - that go to my battery
i havent realy had these or used them before

As I know Caps...there is a marker for negative. Usually a line white or gold or whatever with negative sign...but using it on ESC I am not an expert as I havent connected one yet...2 of my MM running 5S and 6S run fine without caps...

hope this helps

Lind5 - the easiest is to go with the novak HV 2700uf cap - it comes ready to install across the power lines and the leads are coloured. It will help the esc absorb some of the voltage ripple.

hmmmm not sure why 3 ESC got cooked but you might want to look at your gearing and setup...btw where are you putting the 7XL MM combo? I hope its not a heavy truck of truggy...

lind5 08.29.2008 02:53 PM

well i guess it is quite heavy its my converted lst2
you think this could be a problem for me
i do have a neu 1515/1.5d 2700kv motor woould this be a better choice
or not
