what lvc do you guys use with 2-5s lipo in parallel
i need name or link please!

MMM has one built in for 2-6s lipo.
Nothing that I've seen will go higher than 4s, so you will have to try something else like the buzzer/flashing light type LVC warning devices found on heli/plane websites, or hobbycity/swanghobby. |
how about this...http://www.dimensionengineering.com/LipoShield.htm

the Schulze 18.97kwf has "under voltage cut off" at 58.6% as stated in manual...this is too low?
|
That sounds like a setting for nimhs, so it would indeed be too low for lipos probably. Take a look at this thing:
http://www.swanghobby.com/product.ph...&cat=16&page=1 In theory though, you could use a 4s lvc/ battery monitor that plugs into the balance taps on the lipo, and monitor the voltage of 4 out of 5 cells. When the voltage of those 5 cells drops below 12.8v (3.2v per cell) for example, then you know it would be time to stop running: http://home.comcast.net/~truerc/custom/custompack.htm (3rd and 4th items down). |
