It's new to Hobby City. They haven't even gotten them in stock yet. Was this for sale elsewhere?

Ive known about this for a couple weeks.

e-rev project 09.02.2008 10:44 PM

a couple weeks is not new?

BL_RV0 09.02.2008 11:11 PM

 It's on Bidproduct. Same esc, but yellow shrink.

TexasSP 09.02.2008 11:30 PM

Does it have car programming? I would suspect for 30 dollars you will get a 30 dollar ESC, but hey, I could be wrong.

lutach 09.02.2008 11:36 PM

No car programming and it's made by Suppo. A few companies here in the US sell them at a very good price as well. I'm just getting new price for my 6S 150A and 10S 120A ESCs and if I get it by today, I'll be sending them $$$ tomorrow and should have them in about 15 days after they receive the $$$. I know you guys are looking for the cheapest car ESC out there and I'll try to make mine at the lowest price possible.

ffactory666 09.03.2008 04:11 AM

I don't think it's so much looking for cheap but rather reliability at a good price

Superbasher 09.03.2008 05:50 AM

Here it is on bidproduct: http://www.bidproduct.com/part/Produ...20ESC_116.html

So it doesn't have proportional brakes? Shame really if it doesn't as I was going to try it for that price.

Is this the same thing as the TrueRC Volo ESC?

tc3_racer_001 09.25.2008 06:22 PM

well as i just read, the volo is 5s only - this is 8s....

(and this is hasnt got any car software...)

lutach 09.25.2008 06:53 PM

The 8S controller posted above is made by Suppo. I just received their 30A car ESC for testing and if it works ok, Suppo will be able to add the car software to any of their ESCs.

BL_RV0 09.26.2008 03:02 PM

This could be promising... Is the 30a a 3s esc?

I actually don't know as they are trying the car software for the first time and it's not like the car software my 2 ESCs have. I'll see how they go after I come back from Sunday's RCM bash.
