HPI Brushless Looks a lot like Sidewinder

This ESC looks identical to the sidewinder. Does anyone know if CC is making them for HPI? The specs are the same and the 5700 motor looks the same as well.

There was a discussion about this a little while ago and I'm pretty sure they were.

It is HPI contracted CC for their brushless line - You can even see the photos in castle link

If I remember correctly, if you looked really close, you could read "castle creations" on the ESC wires. It's a sidewinder, no doubt about it.

Anyone know what the price is on the esc and motor?

lol from hpi website "2.3mm 1/8" Hardened Steel Shaft" - damn typos. I have a mini motor with a 2.3mm shaft... finding pinions is hard heh.

It prpbably wont come down... HPI loves to hijack people of their money from upgrades and replacements. It sometimes is to rediculous.

Well, so I missed the other thread but the truth is told. I ran across it by accident and had not seen it before. At least someone is using a decent ESC that is programmable.
