Man so thats what it looks like clean. I got a used nitro one, Im going to go clean mine and take it apart now, im motivated I think, my xtreme c/f kit came from amain today. Dont post pics of it again until you get that infernal nitro engine off it, have some respect for our eyes  Tell us your plans for the build.

Hey Takedown! I have always been lurking... Lots of good info here and little drama! :yes:As you know thats my kind of forum  Besides it is no secret this is the place to be for bl conversions so i thought it was time to speak up and soak up some knowledge!

Thanks guys i will post up a parts list as i get closer to my final decisions but i will give you a few thoughts.....

Neu 1521 - mgm TMM 25035-3 250-300amp - Flightpower evo25 5000 mah - Custom Cow designed 8mm maybe thicker 2mm weave carbon fiber chassis and top brace.... I am also consider replaceing the supports at each end with t6-CF units :intello: We will se where she takes me

The Cow 09.11.2008 07:15 PM

Do you guys feel there is any should do-precautionary type mods needed for durability when going very high powered Bl? Diff cases? bulk heads? I am also curious if you guys are happy with the stock shocks as far as leaking etc? I dont mind th eplastic as long as they work well

Thanks for any input

Really - why else would you be here looking for info on a conversion unless it was a testament to TOO MUCH POWER - since of course - there is no such thing.

I always chuckle when people ask questions like - do you think I can run my MM with a 5700 on 2 or 3S in and LST2 and not have any heat problems?

I'll be watching this one - lots of Muggy conversions going on the past few months - I've seen it at the LHS and it's a heck of truggy - much more appropriate for a BL conversion than the LST2.

My muggy just got a lipo upgrade. Its on 6cells 5000 tp extreme v2. Temps are warm to hot. Waiting on my eagletree.

Just use some heavy diff fluid in center diff.(i have diff locker stuff) Everything else seems to be good.

THE MUGGY CHOP

I dont plan on using the factory body so i had some fun in my free time this morning :mdr: Looks ok i guess.... but needs to have the phaltlines and blasts on there to look right. plus i need to get the wing mounted lower and a little further back.... and i will be lowering the veh at least an inch :intello: This is the look i will be going for but i will be utilizing a crowd pleazer body chopped and dropped in the same fashion  I may strip the paint out of this one and redo it as the factory paint just doesnt do it for me.... way to busy and distracting IMO
