Converting Savage to bl question
Can anyone who has converted their Savage to bl post some pics of the motor mounts they have made? I'm waiting for my Savy to arrive but would to get a head start on the mount. Is there anything I need to buy or will I be able to make most of the parts? I already have the batt trays and such. Is the spur a 32p or mod 1? I'll be using a 9918/9L combo.
Thanks for the help guys, Shaun |
It's a MOD1 spur. All the other questions you asked are here;

I did a search but couldn't find any really good pics of the motor mount. I did find the answers to my other questions though.
Thanks Serum. Shaun |
They are there for sure! I just did a search for 'savage motor mount' you can see a few if you dig in a little deeper!
No problem mate, if you have got any question about the BL savage, feel free to ask..! |
Serum has a cool looking motor mount on his savage. He also has a few diagrams around to. Serum is the man on the savage. :D I want to be like serum When I grow up.

I'll be doing this on a Savy 4.6. Will I need to upgrade any of the drivetrain to withstand my bl? It already has the hd stuff but also has the 3 spd tranny.
