servo problem...help!

Hey guys, I just wanna clarify this. A few days ago I had a bad landing, and the Y-harness on my BL- Emaxx was caught in the spur gear and chewed up, part of it was still hanging by a thread, the mamba max engaged properly and the truck went forward and in reverse the right way, but when I tried to turn the servos would glitch REALLY bad and turn by themselves all the way to the right and keep making noises and twitching, but when I unplugged the Y-harness and plugged in one Lipo, the truck turned fine but did not engage the mamba max, thats because of the settings on it I know, but I think the problem with the servos is the Y-harness, so I just gotta get it resoldered right? Lol sorry for the long post, just gotta shed some light on this situation :mdr:

Well, since the problem started after the Y harness got messed up, chances are the harness is the culprit. I would get a new one - they aren't expensive compared to replacement parts if the servo doesn't work and sends you into a wall.

You probably have an intermittent or weak power, ground, or signal line where the spur cut into it.

Ok thanks, also why with one lipo plugged in the mamba max does not engage but the servos turn just fine? The settings on the mamba max? I have it set at 12v cutoff because I am running two 2s 4500 mah lipos, so with one 2s it probably cuts it off immediately.
