I am building my Savage and have troubles. I have a Castle Mamba Monster
how do I set up this truck so I can run one servo for steering and the one for the manual brake
I am running a Futaba Fasst 2.4

The way I have set mine up is that I mix my aux channel on the receiver with my throttle channel. To do this you will have to read your radios manual. This means you plug the brake servo into the aux port on your receiver.

Setup the monster max with reverse disabled and don't worry about brakes as they won't have any effect on the esc.

One thing to check though is that your servo horn on your steering servo does not hit the brake servo. I discovered this issue on mine. I noticed I wasn't able to turn as much one way as much as the other. I had set the end points up so the servo didn't bind but this was reducing the amount of turn I had in one direction. When I tried to increase the endpoint I noticed it bound. It's hard to see the problem because it is up inside the chassis.

well if got it to work (brakes) the other steering servo I got done too. I am just waiting for the plug for the motor. Do you think it is ok to run 6s

I put a y adaptor off the reciever to the MMM and the brake servo with the reverse locked out. it works fine.

what size pack do you run

It is quick, not insanely fast but still quick on 6s and the feigao 11xl. I haven't been able to run it with anything else so I don't know how fast it is. It is geared for 40mph, 30 in first.

well I got the FSA up and running so far just a 3s 5000 for testing it sure is slow but I have a 5s coming
