Saturday Night before the RCM Bash?
 

So.... Anything exciting goin on on Saturday night in before the RCM Bash? What exciting to do in the area? I am driving in on Saturday w/ Edumakated and was wondering if anyone has any plans for that night. Possibly someone a bit more local can put a plan of a place for people to meet up.

We will probably be getting into town saturday mid/late afternoon.

Anyone gonna be around?

Man you guys dont know how much I'd love to go but 1st off my 1/5 isnt running yet and it would be a little difficult to get out their from here w/o spending some serious dough...

I'm about 60miles south in a town called Chatham, NJ - I'm not sure if you come across on the 78 or the 80. I'm in between the two - I'm happy to host a BBQ or something if people want or there is a track slightly futher north off of route 80 that would be on your way that we could meet at.

Have you guys booked a local hotel near Chester - I thought I was just going to go up on Sunday AM early but if you've found somewhere reasonable I might go up the night before.

Man, I wish I could go! Timing is just not right yet again. :(

havent booked it yet, but I'm planning on staying up in middletown. Either the courtyard or the Hapmton. Depends which the wife has more points at. She travels alot so hopefully I can book it free on her points.

Not sure if we will get there with enough time to get down to another track. or not. Is anyone else planning on comming into town and staying in the area?

If you guys want a pre-race race, I'll be running at Pin Shop Hobbies in Oakville CT on Saturday. We start racing at about 2pm. A bunch of us from there are supposed to go to the bash, not sure how many of the guys who said they would go actually will. I will be there for sure. I remember last year a bunch of you guys went to Xtreme RC in New Milford, that place has closed.
