A ques. in running a 50 Medusa 3300kv.

I installed the 50 Medusa in my new crt.5 w/a mm esc. the problem is that I only have a nimi batts. The truck would barely move. I am guessing tha the batts. just don't have enough power to run the motor.....right

I think you might want to check other possibilities. I just tested the same motor in my IGT and it runs really well. I did run it on 4S, but never the less I have never encountered a motor that would not run on Nimh and run on Lipos.

Yea,
My 3300 really didn't like it when I used nimh batteries. It wasn't even worth driving because it seemed so underpowered (an understatement). I switched to my 4300 3s lipos and it is strong and effecient. It is geared to about 35mph and I get close to 20min runtimes on it. Lipos really make it shine.
