futaba 3pm vs airtronics mx-3 both 2.4ghz
 

is there any technology difference between these 2 radios. i know how to use my FM mx-3, and the 2.4ghz version is only 150 bucks, compared to the 3pm 2.4 ghz at 180 bucks.

my mx-3 fm is giving me glitches with my mmm on 5s:whip:

I really like my mx3- fhss. No glitches with the mm and 6s A123.

are you sure its the radio? I had glitching problems that were bec related once. For some strange reason the rx was cutting out even without much load when I had an external bec, but using the mm internal one it worked no pobs.

I run a 3PM 2.4 but I know for sure this was not a radio thing, so don't let it turn you off. Just saying you may not have to upgrade :P

im using just the mmm nothing external, i would rather not upgrade though

I have used the MX-3 FHSS, and it's a good radio. Probably half of the car guys at the LHS I work at use this radio with excellent results.

I have a 3PM and its great, but I do like the UI of my MX-3 FM radio better.

i think i'll go with the mx-3, i like my fm one but was afraid of tech differences between the new 2.4ghz it and the 3pm. i just want glitch free operation and it sound like the mx3 2.4ghz will do that
