Darn - first dead MMM V2
 

I have 2 V1 MMMs that I have not had a single problem with.

Got a V2 one about 2 weeks ago and installed it in my current GT10 project this morning to test things out. Configured it with the CastleLink, calibrated it with the Rx and then was just running the wheels pretty slowly just to test direction of rotation and stuff.

About 30 seconds in with a little on/off on the throttle and I heard a pop from the MMM and smelled a little burnt stuff. Unplugged everything quickly.

Went to plug things back in and.... well.... nothing... No lights, no fans, dead.

I am now officially a victim of the MMM problems.

I really like the MMM controller and will send the dead one back to Castle to help them resolve the problems with their ESC.

I'm obviously disappointed but life will go on. :)
