I am starting my own track and need advice on finding an affordable but very good working system to track lap times and positions on track with transponders thanks for any help

for a low budget you and your friends type track the ilap timing is great but if you want any type of orginized racing amb is the best there is and rcscoring pro makes it even better

Cheesecake knows. he runs the races for our local club and has used most of them at one point or another.

I agree w/ him BTW. iLap is a nice low cost entry system, The only problem is that most racers already have the AMB transponders so to use the ilap system they would need new ones to work with that sysytem. Makes things a PITA if you have folks that already own AMB.

+1
AMB decoder box with RC Scoring Pro is the best and most reliable system to buy. It holds it's value very well as well should you ever decide to sell it.
