Jato body on an E-Maxx?

I am currently looking for a body for one of my E-Maxxs and was wondering if the Jato body would fit on one.
Anyone had any experience with this or know of someone that has tried it. What about the rims, would they fit? They kinda look small.
Thanks.

Don't know about the rims, but the body is a little short on the Revo, not sure about the E-maxx

I think crazy is right. The jato body will be a little short.

I've got both a Jato and an E-Maxx at home. I'll put the Jato body on the E-Maxx and take a couple pictures later.

That would be appreciated Batfish.
Thanks

I got a little carried away with this one :)

Here's what you'll see in the pics below:
E-Maxx with rollcage
with stock E-Maxx body
with stock MGT body
with XXX-T body

I actually think it would look pretty cool with a Jato body mounted on it.
The MGT body on it reminds me of clown shoes :)

Looks like it might fit right. On the revo the problem is the body posts are too far apart

JOHNNYMAXXIMA 11.10.2005 04:02 AM

Thanks Batfish for taking the time to do that. That was interesting seeing all those different bodys on an E-Maxx.:D
I looks like it might fit. Do you think if the roll cage wasn't there it would fit?

dabid 11.10.2005 04:08 AM

Not really, don't think it's wide enough.

Batfish 11.10.2005 09:18 AM

Man...now I gotta take the roll cage off? :)
I'll do that on Friday - racing tonight. :)

JOHNNYMAXXIMA 11.10.2005 03:20 PM

Good luck tonight.
I didn't meen for you to take it off. I know what a pain those can be sometimes. Maybe if you could just eyeball it or something.:D

Batfish 11.10.2005 03:34 PM

Thanks!

It's actually pretty easy to take off. VGRacing made it so it is held on by the front and rear bumpers so all I have to do is remove a few screws in the bumpers to remove the roll cage. I don't have body posts mounted, however, so we'll see how it looks after the cage is removed :)
The bodies will definitely sit low.
