CC is replacing all damaged V1 ESC's, they are not repairing them so you will get back a new replacement ESC. The warranty is 1 year as well so you are well within the warranty period. Call them up and send it back.

The way we are handling V1 is this -- we will replace any V1, in warranty, out of warranty, etc.

When should we send them back? I live in Australia and will probably take 2+ weeks to get to you?

I think Patrick has said all V1's will be replaced, regardless of age. (thats the way I interpreted this quote)

Yeah, that's right. You won't need a receipt because all Monsters are still in warranty.

Can you get a credit card statement or something to prove it? I don't know if you can check previous orders with RC-M like you can Tower, Amain, etc.

The Monster hasn't even been out a year yet, it's hard to be out of warranty
