Very nicely done, Needed a Lipo though

More interesting than most of the e-conversions from RC-Action and the other popular website, but still truely lacking. None of the sites seem to really embrace the true powerful BL conversion that are whipped up on this site.

I would love to see rc-action show off a 6S rip your tires off their wheels E-Revo or something. Then I'll be impressed.

Add a li-po to that truck and wahoooooooo!

Wow, and I thought my ejato was junk. That is a very poorly done conversion. So he makes his own chassis? His motor mount, use of 48p gears, and strange battery placement scream of poor layout. BrianG did a better job...

Tenery packs! Those boys really should have made it to the barn!

That's killer power! 8 nimh's! wow yawn. He made the chassie longer used alum upgrades for what? More crappy cells.

HAHA, funny.

Not a bad day, just hate to see junk like this all over major forums. A vxl runstler is a better vehicle than this. I wish some real conversions, with properly done chassis and decent escs and motor.

Plus a good lipo, no maxcrap junk. I would almost rather have the tenergy pack than a maxamps...

One of the only decent mag buils was that crazy scratch built live axle monster truck with the transverse motors. Pity he was running brushed and nimh...

I find this article more interesting:

A 35C lipo - wonder how over rated that is. Should've used that in the e-jato.

Let's see - other e-conversion rccaraction has on their site:

FDM

http://www.rccaraction.com/ME2/dirmo...A9C58899F9DA8D

And I remember this one fondly - this what made me buy my first LST2 conversion kit from FDM. Go Fine Design and RC Car Action:

http://www.finedesignrc.com/rccaraction8-06.htm

This got me into BL to begin with, but wasn't more than a few months before I found RCM and there was no turning back.

Just goes to show that good advertising does not necessarily mean good products. Integy, maxamps, fine design, and many others reinforce that statement.

I actually thought it was a good conversion, the longer chassis allows a standard pack to fit good, the raised motor allows the weight transfer to happen almost like a rear motor Electric does. The 48 pitch gears would have been my choice anyways, I come from a E-stadium truck background anyways. The only letdown for me was the lack if a lipo, even a Maxamps 2s would have been a better choice than the tennergy packs he used, Overall i gave the conversion a 7 out of a 10. Some of you guys have done better looking and more powerful conversions, but this one looks more functional. I have an RC10 GT converted to electric that i love, and plan to get the X-factory X-60 conversion for my T4 as soon as i can. I love the mid motor designs
