Sending Castle item back

For under-warranty castle product, do I need to pay the return postage for repaired or replaced item?
Thank you.

I've always payed it one way. I pay to send it to them, they payed to ship it back to me.

Yeah thats the way all of my RMA's have been with other companies.
Hopefully I wont need to send my V2 back (thats if I ever get it from BPP)

Thanks DickyT and Commando!
Commando, why don't you get your V2 from Mike? Is it because of shipping cost? It's only $145. I just ordered mine today.

i got a question.

i have a mamba 25 and a motor that i need to send in for replacements

how does it work with sending them in?

i send in my stuff. they send the new stuff then i pay paypal? or i pay before they send?

anyone know how this works

thanks! (dont mean to jack your thread but i think you got your question answered?)

If your mamba is within warranty (within 1yr), just fill-up the form and mail the item to castle with a copy of the receipt (for proof of purchase).

Only if the unit is out of warranty.

Follow-up question: Can we send a good MMM V2 for replacement when V3 comes out? I'm sure there are design flaws in V2 that are corrected in V3.
Thanks again.

suicideneil 10.09.2008 06:33 PM

I believe Patrick said we could send in our old MMMs for upgrade or replacement if we so desired, no warrenty conciderations either. That said, if it aint broke, why fix it?

t-maxxracer32 10.09.2008 07:32 PM

because some v2s are breaking... you never can tell with these things it seems like.

if i had a working v2 i would hold it for a little untill people give feedback on the v3s. if they are working without problems id send in my v2 so i wont have any future headaches with it.

clowkoy 10.09.2008 08:35 PM

That's what I'm thinking too. If we based it on the poll, it seems like we have almost 50/50 chance that our MMM will fail.
Thanks Neil. I've moved here since you left the other forum.
