T-Maxx extended FLM chassi
My stock front skid doesn't reach the screw holes on the braces. Is there a skid made for the FLM extended chassi that will reach back to them?
The chassis braces for the FLM chassis should line up with the front skid just fine. Are you sure you don't have the braces on the chassis backwards? How far off are you?
Lol,yes. They only fit on one way. It's off by about the size of the hole. Could it be my Integy bulkhead ? and would a pic help any?
A picture would definately help. Can you bend the skid to fit? If I have a picture, I can work with FLM to get it resolved.
I can make them reach but I have to losen the the bulks from the chassis pull it back to line em up then when I tighten everything back up my front wheels dont turn cause the steering binds up,lol.................my camera is junk but I'll se if I can get some pics for you..be back in a min....THANK YOU by the way

Bottom left arrow points to the hole for the screw, only about half is exposed. the others are ballpoint pens and a stock turnbuckle for scale. The turnbuckles threaded part fits but not the other part its too thick after the threads |
that sucks.. it's weird though, i have seen a chassis mounted on another truck though..
You didn't washed your skid in supershrinker? |

Lmao,I didn't even think about that. I knew I should have had it dry cleaned.Thats the last time I do laundry:mad: |
Just use low heat
Strange indeed. I have that chassis and it works just fine. No binding. I remember a tight fit on the skid, but my skid was bent from some use, so I just made it fit and never had any troubles. I will get with FLM on this for you.

Thank You Mike

in the meantime, let your girl do the laundry..
That's not what I wanted to hear :-(
Any news Mike? Even if it's bad?
I run this chassis an every lines up. Maybe you got a throw away by accident?
