So who has tried Rhino lipos?

Figured that I would ask, as the rest of the online goobers that have tried them seem to like them. However I value the opinions of this forums members slightly more than everyone else...

A few have said both Rhino and Zippy packs use the same cells. If this is true, I use the Zippy H packs and they are unbeatable for the price. Great performance and rated accurately. You will wait a month or so for shipment, but it was worth the wait for me. I've never heard a complaint of the Zippys other than a 5s pack that shifted and shorted out. Not a big deal since its the only malfunction I know of, but still mentionable.

Edit- The Rhinos actually say "Zippy" on the packs.

From what I have heard, some think the rhino are enerland cells... Not sure, but they are 20c packs, so could be the older technology cells.

the zippy-r's definatly are enerland cells not sure bout the rhinos, i have 2 zippy-r's and a zippy-h they are all well on par with the enerlands, same temps after a 5 min and 10 min race the other weekend

I have a Rhino 4s 4900mah pack, it's been great so far. It has maybe 15 cycles on it, and always is well balanced. The pack is a bit long, but that's not an issue here.
These 4900mah cells have single tabs on opposite sides of the cell, like the current higher discharge cells out there.

Good info Metalman. I wonder if they are knock offs, or rebranded cells?

I may have to give them a try...

yep, i put my 4s 4800 zipp-r pack next to my flightpower, and bam, i see no difference, the cell tabs and everything, dunno if the rhinos have a bit more capacity then the 4800's?

That is what I saw. I may have to pick up a pair of the 4900 5s packs when they come back in stock. Looks like a good deal to me!

I am thinking a pair of those for a 10s config in a bpp truck or my flm savage. Use one of lutach's 10s escs and a 1200kv motor... Lots o power!!!

I only use the Rhino 610mAh in my micros, because they fit lol. Neu is have a 40% off in his web store.

Anyone know if the Rhino 4900 cells packs are really 184mm long. Thats really long and pretty much makes it unuseable for me.

After looking at all of the other 4900 packs, it appears that the 5s packs are different dimensions, and most likely different cells. I guess that would also explain the price too. I am sure that the price will be different when the new 5s packs come in. Might be a good time to backorder, as they will most likelt sell the new packs at the same cost as the old ones...

I just measured my 4s 4900, and it's about 6 3/4" long, or 172mm.
