Where do you offroad?

As most of you with r/c truck have probably found out, there arent r/c truck places specially designed and built for you to jump your truck, so most people have had to improvise by finding what turn out to be little unknown goldimines for offroading... anybody care to share pics of what they found? this is where I go. I found this spot in the woods here
here are some pics. sorry for the bad quality.
the rest of the pics can be found here

Where are your cool spots?

I have found three "illegal BMX parks" in my area, and all of them are pretty amazing. I'm not sure when I will be able to get pics. Maybe tomorrow if I'm lucky.

No woods near me :( I use baseball diamonds, construction sites, New Orleans levees and any other place I can find. I am probably the only 46YO who plulls up at an empty construction site in a Jaguar opens his trunk and pulls out his "toy truck" to play in the mud :)

I usually bash at bike jumps, unfortunately my local spot with great jumps has been torn down for houses. :grrrrrr: But also my back yard is alright for a quick bash.
Bash spot (these are the small jumps)

OMG - too funny!!!! I feel the same way. I think I am the only 34yo pulling up to random grassy spots, parking lots and whatever I can find in an Audi sports car to play with toys.

Usually I get over it pretty quick once I get into bashing around when people pull up and are impressed with how fast these BL things are. Most people who stop to talk are either into RC themselves or play with planes or helis.

The most fun thing is when people come walking by with their dogs - the RC cars zooming around drives the dogs apeshit - and their owners can barely keep them on their leash. Oh well - I am not a dog person myself, so I think I get sadistic pleasure in that part of it - I'll never understand the enjoyment of owning an animal that you have to follow behind and pick up its pooh. Makes you wonder who owns who..........

Good to hear that I am not alone. If you ever make it down to New Orleans look me up.

Dogs and RCs can be alot of fun. My wife has a toy poodle who soon learned to stay away from the little truck that terrorized his house. He chased it once and since just jumps into my wifes lap and watches.

Haha, no dogs here- but i do have a large family of grounhogs in my back yard.. they get kind of angry when you cut them off from there hole lol

Also have a Video of my jumping over Eovnu as he was standing in the gap...

Launch ramp was about 4 feet tall landing was about the same if not a tad bit shorter. dirt was dry as anything- dust went everywhere.

eovnu87435ds 10.17.2008 01:05 AM

that was insane... not to mention the 8+ foot gap u jumped...

and you didnt cause dirt to fly, ur truck had enough traction not to throw dirt... unlike the lil 2wd evader
