conductive adhesive?
 
Is there any kind of adhesive that is highly conductive?

Ha.... it's me trying to get out of trying to solder to my aluminium can a123 cells.:lol: The tab that was spot welded came off one of my packs. I just can't get the solder to stick.

You need zinc solder and the appropriate flux. Works just like regular solder but will stick al together, or anything to al. In fact, after you tin the al with the zinc solder you can use regular solder and it will melt together. That way you can tin the wires with regular solder as it is easier to work with (see below for explanation)

Cheapbatterypacks.com sells it, that is where I got mine from. It is a must if you are building lipos. You may want a sperate tip for your soldering iron, as the flux is very aggressive and will require frequent tip cleaning. Use a very small amount of the flux, that helps.
