Shock upgrade for Rustler

I've got a rustler with RPM plastic all around a FLM chassis and soon FLM trans case. I'm looking to upgrade the shocks to a nicer piece, but am not sure what would be the best shock for me.

I was reading in a thread and someone mentioned exactly what shocks to use for the front and rear, but I can't find it anywhere. Any tips/ info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am sure that you can use any 1/8 buggy front shock to replace the rustler rear shocks. Maybe use jato shocks on the front? Not too sure about that. I use a jato/1/8 buggy front shock combo on my crt.5, and they work well, especially since my .5 is heavy with the ext chassis, etc.

I'm doing the same ATM for a low pede - Using ofna buggy in rear and revo in the front...

Wow, thanks for the fast replies.

I'll go with some 1/8 buggy shocks in the rear then. How do you like the ofna ones? Do they have threaded bodies? I thought that I read in another rustler shock thread that the revo shocks limit travel? is that only in the rear? Thanks again.

The newer Ofna Lx, mutilator or MBX are all threaded and are identical to the older X1CR shocks (only difference is colour)...

ON my slash (about same suspension than a rustler) i use jato shock up front and front LX one buggy on rear.
