anyone else blowing through rear body/fin mounts??
I have broke two of the rear body mounts in that past two weeks and am wondering if it is just me. I will admit that these were after some very hard landings to the rear, but still, im tired of having to buy these things. I have thought about getting an aluminum one, but i figure that that will just bend...perhaps i need to just learn how to land on all 4 wheels!!!

I broke one awhile ago, many hard upside down backwards landings on the wing did mine in!

so far so good for me, nothing has broken yet

MIne are holding up well. If you have a propensity for landing on your lid, definitley stick with the plastic parts.

How is your wing holding up? Or do you have one? If not, you might consider adding a wing.

I have the wing on my E-REVO only cause it came with it, if my wing breaks I'm going to go to a standard REVO setup. The bumper mount acts as a spring, my REVO 3.3 took many 2 springs worth of jumping off snowbanks, getting about 25-30' of air and only landing on the wheels about 25% of the time. The mount that broke on my E-REVO is from when I had the titans in it, they didn't give me the throttle response I was acoustomed to so I could launch well and control it in the air, it resulted in many backward landings upside down stuffing the wing into the dirt, of course this was only at about 20MPH and maybe 2' in the air. The wing acts as a big lever against the body mount.

yes it does have a wing one it...I broke the stock wing a while back and put the traxxas exo-carbon one on there. so far its doing pretty good, but this was the first drive since putting on the new body mount and i broke it again!!!!! I have one on order but i expect to break it in no time....I should just buy ten of them and be set for about a month.
