My RC Fleet- So Far...

Well here's the family photo:

http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g4...d/DSC00214.jpg

From L --> R:

The Rustler: 4s MA 4K pack, LMT 1940/7 2240kV, MGM 16016. Easy 60+ MPH.

Kyosho Blizzard Ep: 2s MA 4K pack, IPC Runner ESC, ? turn motor. Gonna have a 4s pack and a ~1000kV outrunner in here eventually. I plan on pulling stumps. lol

Ofna Ultra GTP: 6s FP Extreme 5K pack, Neu 1515/1Y. Custom polycarbonate speed body (wip). Going for 100+ MPH with this one. It will give lutach's 6s ESC a good bashing!

Traxxas Slash: 4s MA 4K pack, Feigao 16S 2200kV, MGM 16016, NewEra 17mm adapters, Proline Moab 1/8 buggy tires.

Tamiya F103GT: This one will be interesting. 2 GP 56mm Hyperflow EDFs, 2 GP 24-45-3790 BL motors, 2 GP Silver 45A ESCs, custom mechanical brakes, custom battery tray for the 4s MA 4k pack, no known speed limit...

Also on the drawing board we have the infamous Gale-Force Ultra GTP which will be built someday. Then thers's that GTP-based 8x8x4 Stryker I want to build... :oh:

What's_nitro? 10.25.2008 11:30 PM

Thank you sir! I am expecting the family to grow in the next few months.

Semi Pro 10.25.2008 11:42 PM

whats you next going to be?

rabosi 10.26.2008 12:59 PM

I like the twin fans concept. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.

lincpimp 10.26.2008 02:39 PM

Looks good man! I really want a blizzard. I need to clear out some of my stuff!

kulangflow 10.26.2008 02:41 PM

+1 to the Blizzard. Does it take much to get them brushless and snow worthy?

I hope not! That's why I bought it! I'm thinking this body (since I accidentally stepped on the stocker)- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVDF8&P=0. Does anyone know a company who makes outrunners with a 1/8" shaft? All the motors I see are 2.3mm, 3mm (not 3.17mm), or 4mm. Or, where can I get 4mm 48P pinions? SDP-SI probably has them but their site is down for maintenance. I'm looking for 12-18T gears.

Very nice fleet you have there

Thank you!

I like this motor for the blizzard- http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s..._1000Kv_/_605w. 4mm shaft so those pinions are a must-find. Unless I can put a Mod1 spur gear on it.....

cembom 10.27.2008 10:27 AM

My out runner has a 5mm shaft, and I think I use 48p gears. I cant remember. its a Hyperion and like 800 kv, again I cant remember specifics lol.

TexasSP 10.27.2008 10:48 AM

Like the fleet and will interested to see the BL blizzard roll!

What's_nitro? 10.27.2008 12:59 PM

Well I actually ordered that Turnigy Aerodrive motor and the Turnigy Plush 40A ESC. I'm going to see if I can mount a M1 gear in there because I have some M1 4mm pinions.

Sooo I threw my BK 12020 in to the slash and went out for a spin today...and umm...are shocks supposed to do this???

http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g4...d/DSC00215.jpg

I figure it happened during one of the 832762 flips/rolls/somersaults that I made it do. I didn't even notice it had happened until I brought the truck in and took off the body!

Oh and the Turnigy stuff for the Blizzard will be here next week. :yipi:

lincpimp 10.31.2008 07:37 PM

Saw you ordered the motor for the blizzard, I was going to say to pm johnrobholmes as his 1000kv revolver outrunner has an 1/8" shaft...
