Best Buggy Tire?
Im looking for the best buggy tire to use on hard packed/loose top track. Most guys at the track use Proline Crimefighters or Proline Bowtie (nitro buggies). I was thinking Proline Knuckles 2.0 since tires on brushless buggies rally get a work out. Anyone here used the AKA City Block?

The city blocks are my new tire of choice for my local track. Love em. Great on the bluegroove and when you get out of the line in the dusty section they hold much better than the crimefighters IMO.
I say go for the city blocks. |
they last forever too. around 10x longer than cf imo. (on my hard clay track anyway...)
so go for it! |

yeah i use the city blocks (hard compound) mounted on pro-line v2's and they last a lot longer than the pro-line crimefighters/bowties/holeshots.....and they work great on both loose and hard tracks...IMHO

AKA city blocks or I beams Drift
Haven't heard one negative about theses tires and they last sooooo long . Even try city blocks up front and I beams in the rear similar theory behind it like bowfighters . Let me know if you find any AKA tires in OZ but more than likely you will have to get them from the US but worth it . My D8 corr conversion will use the Knuckles in 2.0 but if i was to race the D8 in buggy class no hesitation in AKA tires . |
aka aka aka! did i say aka? yup ! i did. get aka tires.... the foams are unbelieable. rims and tires glue perfect. best tire yet.
i just piked up a set of gridiron AKA tires (like a hole shot) but havnt tried them yet. |
I've got a set of bowties I run on hard packed surfaces, but I'm thinking I like the ones you posted even better.
Nice pull DB. P.S. The best all around tire is the Bandlands (they hook up!) IMO |
