Inside Neu Motor
I took apart my Neu 1512 Motor today and when I removed the end bell there was two gold spacers sitting on the shaft (1 short one and 1 long one) Does it matter which order these two spacers go on the shaft?
|
When i changed the bearings on my Neu 1512 i also had one longer and one shorter spacer. As i drove my motor in wet conditions i had some marks on my motor shafts.

My short one is probably 1/3 the size of that one showen.
What are those connectors you using? |
Those are kontronik silver plugs soldered on the motor wires (comes with the kontronik line of ESC). It's a Neu 1512/2Y (1400kv) which i use with 8-10s A123 ... low amp draw.

stupiud questions.
1. how do you take them apart? unscrew the screws then what? 2. are we allowed to open them up and clean them out or is that voiding the warranty? thanks :) |
1) unscrew the screws and then tap the shaft (front of motor) on ground and it will pop out
2) not sure |
thanks.
