charging 2s 5k li-po ques.

My friend wants to charge his 5k 2s li-po at 6AMPS! I told him he was nuts and to be safe, charge it at 3 amps. (With a balancer)

So he will believe me, considering he is sitting watching me type this, please tell him what the SAFE rate is please! He will not believe me!!! :whistle::whistle:

1C, 5A would be the most common charge rate for a 5000mAh pack.

I told him that you could charge it up to 5A, but my charger only goes up to three amps.

FWIW, even though some companies state that 2C charging is safe for their packs, I stick with no more than 1C for my lipos. They should live a longer life when not pushed past 1C during charging.
